In-Roof Mounting Systems
We specialise and recommend in-roof solar installations for our residential customers. But why do we recommend in-roof solar, as opposed to on-roof?
Aesthetically pleasing installation! Panels are almost flush to the roof, so much less noticeable on darker roof tiles. There are reports that in-roof installations have a higher likelihood of increasing the value of your property when sold.
No need to install bird protection. on-roof systems will require bird protection to prevent nesting and damage to the panels.
Less wind noise and potential to lift. On-roof panels may rattle in high winds and are more prone to being taken away completely in storms! With in-roof, the panels are flush, so no rattling noises or panels blowing away in a gale.
Roof Maintenance. With in-roof solar installations, we repair and renew the integrity of the roof underneath the panels, meaning that there will be no need to maintain the roof underneath for many years to come. with on-roof solar, there is a potential that any issues with the integrity of the roof under the panels would need you to have all the panels removed and then put back up when your roof has been repaired.
